MXR (Dunlop)

MXR started in 1972 in Rochester, New York, with small pedals in a cast enclosure and not one knob too many: the Phase 90 has a single control, the Dyna Comp two. The original company went under in 1984; since 1987 the name has belonged to Dunlop, which reissues the classics and has built a broad line around them, from bass compressors to Custom Shop editions.
