NUX

NUX is the effects brand of Cherub Technology from Shenzhen, which has been building pedals, amplifiers, wireless systems and electronic drum kits since the mid-2000s. The pedal range splits into a few clear lines. The Mini Core series puts a complete set of effects into mini enclosures with stereo in and out over TRS and a second function under a held footswitch; the Verdugo series gives those same effects a larger housing and more connections; the Core series packs eight variants of one effect under a selector knob; and the Reissue series recreates well-known amplifiers, from a 1959 Fender Bassman to a Mesa Rectifier. Alongside those sit the MG multi-effects and the floor pedals with amp models and impulse responses — Amp Academy, Trident, Cerberus. In the Benelux the brand is widely stocked: most of the shops in this comparison carry it.
