Catalinbread distortion
This is where the fuzz and distortion pedals sit together. The Fuzzrite and the Karma Suture each exist in a germanium and a silicon version: germanium sounds softer and rougher, silicon harder and more direct. The Elements Fuzz is the stripped-back budget version; the Giygas and the Starcrash Fuzz are later designs with a character of their own. Alongside them are three heavier pedals: the Carbide with its Boss HM-2-style chainsaw, the Katzenkönig crossing a Tone Bender with a RAT, and the CB Distortion from the Elements range.
