Modern high-gain

Four distortion pedals aimed at metal and modern rock, from brands that aren't repeating a seventies or eighties classic but instead chase a contemporary, tighter sound. Friedman and Revv also build full amplifiers and pack that gain character into a pedal; the EHX Metal Muff is the metal take on the Big Muff circuit.
